'False Operative' is the first track on Long Island hardcore band Become One's new EP, "Subsidence". The track showcases the bands aim at simultaneously aggressive music and mature lyricism.

The long running band's return sees them joining New Morality Zine to release the 4 song EP on 8.6. To coincide with the release, New Morality Zine will have the EP on CD that includes 4 bonus tracks from the bands earlier days (1998-2001).

Deaf ears incite the chaos.
Never a trip in their stride.
Never diverting from their one-way path.
There is only one answer.
One set path through life.

With lines pre-drawn suited to their needs,
Their megaphone blares until receiving ears bleed.
Children are gunned down.
Anxious nation can’t breathe.
Where denials thrive, resolutions cease.

Conserve primitive ideals, aged nearly 250 years.
But the past is a foreign culture.

Are you really offended or do you just choose to be?
Are you the one being stripped of your rights?
Are you the one with your back against the wall?

Agenda rationalized,
By selective criticism.
Your platform is just a boast,
Catering to only those you cherish most.
Unchallenged rhetoric
Will never be disproved.
You never challenge,
So you’re always sold.

Formulaic Reaction. Another non-action.
You value pedigree over accomplishments.

So, about face and swallow the resistance.
Eat your words and live them.
Your lives are now a consequence.
And I’m just a bystander, pondering this division.
