Sinistralis Tony Hook after hook, catchy brooding and melancholic atmospheric songs. Late90s influence but still holds its own with solid songwriting and brings new dynamics to the table.

A.T.L This is a very fun E.P. that mashes a bunch of great post-hardcore influences into one. Any fans of Deftones or Balance & Composure would feel right at home listening to this. Favorite track: Beatrice.

amos hughes The Deftones influence is evident, but that all falls flat if the song-writing can't keep up. Not on this baby. A crystal-clear favorite of 2021 for me. They really have a handle on the heavy-pretty dynamic. Snag this! Favorite track: Margaery.

Darknight This EP from Holy Figures is so beautiful, perfect post hardcore rock songs just beautifully written and so well produced. Glorious sugar dripped vocals that really add human related aspects to the songs, fans of Deftones and Far will truly appreciate this stunning band. Favorite track: Margaery.

about

HOLY FIGURES, a three piece band from North Carolina whose sound is based on a convergence of influences from rock to post-hardcore, deliver on their debut EP titled "Luck of the Draw". The release will call to mind bands such as FAR, Jawbox, and even certain eras of Deftones. "Luck of the Draw" features four tracks of post-hardcore rock that showcase the band's innate ability to balance heavy, driving rhythm without sacrificing melody. Lyrically Owen Smith, guitar and vocals, used the EP as a way of addressing past drug abuse through creative personification. The result is songs that are both relatable and honest.

HOLY FIGURES is Cody, Caleb and Owen.
